In this article and video, we will look at ways in which evil spirits can cause medical conditions – physical, mental and emotional – and help you to get free.

Did you know that we can come out from God’s covering by things that we do or others do to us and we can become demonised and we can get sick?  Since the time that Adam and Eve disobeyed God, all of creation lives in a fallen world. However, we don’t have to be subject to that fallen world, that sinful nature any longer, because of what Jesus chose to do for us. He paid the price, He took all our sin and sickness on the cross, He died in our place. He rose again and through His body, through His blood that was shed for us, He bought us with that amazing price so that we can overcome these things. We can push away the things of darkness and we can extend the kingdom of heaven, the kingdom of light everywhere that we go.

Crippled for 18 years

So we’re going to look at a couple of things with regard to that. I received a question from someone in one of our Classes who asked: ‘Can a demon sit on someone’s head and make it droop?’ That reminded me of a woman in Jesus’ time when He walked the earth, as recorded in Luke chapter 13 verse 11 and it says this: “There was a woman who had been crippled by a spirit for 18 years. She was bent over and could not straighten…” So whether the problem is a person stooping, bent over from the waist or a hunched neck or back, or a feeling of a weight pressing down or not being to stand up tall, that’s a physical condition occurring in the body, just like the woman that Jesus came into contact with.

But in Luke 13 when Jesus met this woman who was bent over, the Bible says that it had a spiritual cause – that of a demon, a spirit of infirmity. She’d been in that condition for 18 years. Imagine being bent forward with facing the ground for all that time. What a horrible existence! But Jesus set her free and He wants you to be free right now. Jesus said to the woman, “Be set free!” The demon left instantly and then she was completely healed, standing upright.

Do you want to be healed and set free right now?

Many times we’ve seen hundreds, if not thousands of people receive instant miraculous healing when an evil spirit leaves them. Do you have something physically wrong with you or a mental health issue or emotional problem that you want to get free from? Perhaps you’ve been praying and asking God to heal you of that condition or disease and you’re not sure why it’s still there. Well there are a number of causes that can block you receiving your healing, but a common one is very simply an evil spirit. Once you realise that’s all it is – just a demon – and as soon as you get free of that demon, you can be completely healed. Expect to be set free and healed as you read this. Why not? It’s the power of Jesus that sets you free and heals you and what Jesus did for the woman in Luke 13 He can do for you right now!

How the enemy operates

You can receive healing in your body and in your mind and in your emotions so are you ready for that? We want to help activate and launch you into everything that God has for you. This story may help you understand how demons operate. One day as I was working in the cafe we used to have in Blacon, I got chatting to a customer who told me that she’d suffered from a stroke about six months earlier. So I asked if she’d let me pray for her and she agreed. As I was telling the stroke symptoms to leave her body, I heard my name being called from the other side of the cafe. “Aliss, Aliss! Help me!” I looked across and saw a man I knew who had just walked into the cafe. So I ran over there as he was shouting, “I’m having a stroke, call an ambulance.”

I thought, that’s a coincidence! As I’m telling stroke symptoms to leave a woman, at exactly the same time, a man in the same room starts to experience all the symptoms of a stroke. I concluded that it must be demonic, and somehow an evil spirit caused the woman to suffer a stroke 6 months previously and as I told it to leave her it must have looked for another host! So immediately I told him, “It’s just a demon, tell it to go, in the name of Jesus.” Thankfully, he told the demon to leave in Jesus’ name and all the symptoms left instantly.

It’s time to expose those demons!

Demons can operate without you recognising what they are. Satan wants to kill you and destroy your life. They can cause you to have physical, mental and emotional problems, and it’s easy to come into agreement with them and to give them a place in your life; however you try to get better, that thing remains there and you don’t understand why. So it’s really important to recognise when something is caused by an evil spirit, even as it’s happening and those initial feelings or thoughts strike. Now, Jesus released a woman from a demon, a spirit of infirmity that was causing her to be bent forward; she was bent over and couldn’t straighten for 18 years. He set her free and she was healed instantly.

In Mark 9:25 in the Bible, there was a boy who was deaf and unable to speak. It was actually a demon that was causing the boy to be deaf and to be mute according to Jesus and after it was cast out, the boy was healed. Demons can cause other conditions connected to speech such as stammering and Tourette’s Syndrome. They can cause conditions like migraine headaches, fibromyalgia, food intolerance, allergies, arthritis and even cancer. Not every condition is caused directly by an evil spirit but there are probably many more than you thought. Anything that’s stopping you doing normal everyday things or causing problems in your life is very often just the result of a demon trying to stop you. Mental health issues such as OCD, depression, bipolar, hearing voices, anxiety and fear are all usually caused by evil spirits.

Break agreement now

The enemy wants to make your life miserable. Make the decision now that you’re not going to put up with that issue any longer. Break all agreement with those evil spirits and choose to get rid of them, which we’ll do together in a moment. We want to help you to learn how the spirit realm works and be aware of what the enemy is doing, just like the Apostle Paul said we should all do (2 Corinthians 2:11).  Often situations or conditions that we think are just physical, natural things may be caused by the enemy. Did you know we don’t have to get sick? Things come at us but we don’t have to allow them to affect us. We don’t have to be subject to this fallen and sinful world any longer. Do you realise that? It’s time to wake up and put a stop to it, through the power, the blood of Jesus, what He’s done for us on the cross. It’s through His death and resurrection.

So whether you know Jesus or not you can be set free and healed right now. But I tell you what, if you want to go on and remain healed, if you want to stay living free from demons, you need to follow Jesus, you need to give your life to Him.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!

Everything I do is to lead people to Jesus; it really is all about Jesus and through the power of His Spirit, the Holy Spirit. You don’t need me! I can help train you and activate you and show you things but at the end of the day it’s the power of Jesus, it’s not my power. And the more you lay down your life and let go of the right to be right, the more you follow Jesus and His ways, (not your ways), the more you’ll be moving in signs and wonders and miracles as you step out in faith. I really want to encourage you to do that. But I’m going to pray with you to help you. So don’t look to me, it’s not me doing the miracles, I’m just helping you get the revelation about who Jesus is and helping you to recognise some spiritual stuff and know what to do with it.

So before we pray together, I just want to say that if you have some kind of condition or some pain in your body or mental health issue and you think it might be caused by a demon then you need to take responsibility for that. It might have come at you during some kind of trauma, it might not be that it came through sin although maybe it did or you were being disobedient to the Lord; it may have come in then. However it came in, I would still recommend that you ask God to forgive you for coming into agreement with that demon so are you ready to do that now?

Pray along with me now:

“Father God, please forgive me for coming into agreement with any evil spirit that has caused… (and then say what it is – just name it and shame it!) Father God forgive me for coming into agreement with any evil spirit of (pain, depression, despair, anxiety, addiction etc) when I spoke out….. or took medication to try and suppress it…. or expected it to happen…. or gave in to fear… (or whichever way you gave it a foothold in your life). I’m sorry for believing the lies of the enemy over the Word of God and Your Truth. Whatever is causing this condition, I command it to leave me right now in Jesus name. I command that demonic spirit to leave me now through the power of Jesus who is the anointed one, the highest power.

Holy Spirit in, demons out!

Now take a deep breath in of the Holy Spirit and then on the count of three, cough out all evil spirits. ONE TWO THREE OUT!!!!! Breathe them out or cough them out, just get rid of them right now. I’ll pray as you do that and you can watch the video above to help with this as I pray. I release the power of the Lord Jesus and I take authority over every demon that is working in you right now and I tell that thing to leave and go to Jesus. Sense the presence of Jesus as you do that. Thank you Jesus. We release the power of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus Christ come now, come and fill us. Breathe in the Holy Spirit, out with the demons, in with the Holy Spirit. We release joy right now – this should be fun, it’s not a heavy thing. You’re getting free and this is going to change your life! Honestly this has the potential to change your life, you don’t need to be the same ever again. You can be completely healed now by being set free just like Jesus did when he walked the earth and just like His disciples did.

Receive healing now

So we release the healing power of Jesus into your body right now. Just receive it. Put your hand on that part of your body that needs healing and receive the healing from Jesus, not from me, from Jesus. He loves you. Father God loves you so much. I’ve got to say actually that if those things try and come back then just don’t have them, you’ve got to fight sometimes, you’ve got to say ‘you’re not coming back’. But if you don’t know Jesus personally, those evil spirits along with the symptoms may try to come back and however much you attempt to stop them, if you don’t know Jesus personally you will have no power to prevent them. So it’s important that you give your life to Jesus. If you do not know Jesus personally, if you have not invited Him into your life and if you do not follow Him, then now is a good time to do that. Tell Him you want to get right with Him, that you’ve been going your own way, ask Father God to forgive you for doing that, for sins that you’ve committed and thank Jesus for all He’s done for you. Ask Him to come into your life through the power of His Holy Spirit and begin following Him and getting to know Him. Now begin to test out your body and check for healing. Try doing something you could not do before, just have a go. You may need to get up and bend over, move around. Take out hearing aids, remove glasses, get up out of your wheelchair or bed and start walking. Let go of your walking aids, check out lumps, tumours or anything else like that. Go on, step out in faith and believe that Jesus is the Son of God, He loves you and His wonder-working power is available for you today.
