Our Story

We were both born in Chester, UK and married there in 1988. We have two children – well actually three. Our second daughter was stillborn in 1995 at 9 months of pregnancy. That was a tough time, but rather than turn our backs on God, we threw ourselves on Him and chose to pursue Him wholeheartedly. That was a turning point for us.

Around the year 2000 we set up in business which grew, then sadly went bust, but we kept trusting the Lord throughout that time. We embarked on a joint venture with a business in London which was lucrative and going well, when in 2003 the Lord asked us to give up our careers and subsequently our ‘dream’ home in Chester, so we did! It’s a long story and pretty amazing, but suffice to say, it was a challenging time for us. We gave up what we felt God had called us to do, but we trusted Him, stepped out in faith and He has never ever failed us.  He then led us to start an outreach program in our local ‘needy’ neighbourhood and asked us not to take a wage.

Ministry School

In 2005-06 we attended MorningStar School of Ministry in South Carolina, USA. We lived in America for a year with our two young children who are now grown adults. We returned home to Chester, UK and continued to live by faith and follow the Holy Spirit day by day. Our married life for over 30 years has been an exciting adventure, full of triumphs and challenges. On our return from the US we established a weekly training ‘School of the Spirit’ and started a new church in a socially deprived area, to which we moved and still live now. As part of this initiative we went on to open a community café in the neighbourhood which resulted in hundreds of miracles and lives transformed. Then a gift/coffee shop in our city where the miracles and healings continued. We went on to establish another church fellowship in Chester and then opened a boutique B&B with a bistro. During this time we also ran conferences, powerful workshops and residential ‘supernatural’ schools plus a relational network of leaders across Europe which grew to 90 members (MorningStar Europe).

Pioneers

We’re pioneers at heart and we bring breakthrough and make space for others to step into their callings, which is what we’ve done through the ministries and enterprises we’ve pioneered over the years and which the Lord asked us to lay down or pass onto others.

Over recent years we have established Spirit Lifestyle as a training and activation enterprise along with our amazing team Lucy Gregory and Tom and Beth Malone.

We have a mandate to train people all over the world who are hungry for the things of the Spirit and introduce them to the love and power of Jesus, help them launch into all that God has for them, and then in turn they too reach others with God’s love and power, in every sphere of life.

The Lord has commissioned us through Romans 10:13-15 and called us like Peter to Cornelius’ house in Acts 10, through supernatural means, to bring the spiritually hungry and their families into His Kingdom, training, equipping, empowering and sending out Messengers of Power to gather in the harvest. We’re catalysts and love empowering others. We see miracles everywhere we go and help others to life a lifestyle of miracles.
