Rock of Ages by Aliss Cresswell

Rock of Ages

By Aliss Cresswell

I discovered something remarkable about a place we’re travelling to this weekend. Rob and I will be in Somerset, running a two day Supernatural workshop. Patti, our contact there, was struggling to find a venue for us, but eventually booked The Burrington Inn, not far from Bristol. She then discovered that this pub is directly opposite a famous rock in Burrington Combe. It was here at a cleft in the huge rock that the Reverend Augustus Toplady sheltered from a violent thunderstorm in 1763 and was inspired to write his popular hymn, ‘Rock of Ages’.

Not only that, but apparently during the time of the Wesley/Whitfield revival, rallies were held at this place and hundreds would gather to worship and pray.

Shawn Bolz gave me and Rob a prophetic word a few years back and didn’t know anything about us at the time. He told us that we would be sent to people who were incubating a similar level of faith to us, and at the right place and the right time, we would cause these ministries to ‘hatch’ and it would start a worldwide move of God with miracles.

Expecting More Miracles

What’s wonderful is that this is now starting to happen. We’ve just returned from an incredible few weeks in the USA where we ran workshops in three places: Fort Mill SC, Waynesboro VA and Houston TX. I then filmed another show with Sid Roth which will be aired in August. We’re releasing video footage of some of the staggering miracles, healings, deliverance from demons and salvations that took place at the workshops and ‘Supernatural Evenings’ as the people we trained stepped out in faith.

So this coming weekend, as we follow the Holy Spirit, and walk in the footsteps of Toplady, Wesley and Whitfield, we’ll be expecting signs, wonders and miracles as this move of God unfolds and new ministries are birthed from a little pub near Bristol!

“Rock of Ages, cleft for me, Let me hide myself in Thee”.

If you’d like to attend, see my ITINERARY page for details and links.
